A driver at the start of something

Alex Alonzo is a 15-year-old driver from Deerfield Beach, Florida, working toward a career in professional motorsports.

He has built his racecraft in three places: on the kart track, in the cockpit of the Rush SR, and in the sim, where he is an experienced racer who puts in the laps between track days. Each one has taught him something different. Karts taught him to race wheel to wheel. The Rush SR taught him what a real race car asks of a driver. The sim keeps him sharp when the track is closed.

What he needs now is the next step: more seat time, a team willing to develop a young driver, and partners who want to be part of the story from the beginning.

Seat time

Three kinds of driving, one goal. Here is where Alex has put in the work so far.

Rush SR

Alex's first laps in a purpose-built race car. Testing the Rush SR means slicks, wings, a sequential gearbox and far more speed than a kart, and it is the clearest sign yet of where he is headed.

  • Full test sessions on a professional circuit
  • Working with a crew on belts, setup and feedback
  • Onboard video from every session to study afterward

Karting

Where every racing driver learns the craft. Karting is where Alex learned to brake late, carry speed and race inches from the kart beside him.

  • Two-stroke race karts on full-size circuits
  • Wheel-to-wheel racecraft and starts
  • Fitness and consistency over long runs

Sim racing

Alex holds a 5.4K Sports Car iRating on iRacing and drives for G-Lightning Motors. He treats the rig as a training tool: it is where he learns a circuit before he gets there and races full fields when there is no track day on the calendar.

  • Track learningBraking points and lines memorized before the first real lap.
  • RacecraftStarts, traffic and pressure in full online fields.
  • RepetitionLaps between track days, so nothing gets rusty.

Back a driver from the first lap

Racing runs on partnerships. Alex is building his now, and the brands that join early get the whole climb, not just the finish.

What a partnership can include

  • Your logo on the car, kart, race suit and helmet
  • Photo and video from test days and race weekends for your channels
  • Alex at your events, with the helmet and the stories
  • Your brand on his sim rig and online races
  • A trackside board in the Lights Out game on this site

Where the support goes

  • Test days and seat time
  • Race entries, tires and fuel
  • Coaching and data
  • Travel and safety gear

For race teams

Alex is looking for a team that develops young drivers, and he is ready to earn the seat.

  • Seat time already banked. Karts and Rush SR testing, so a race car is not new to him.
  • Prepared before he arrives. He learns the circuit in the sim first.
  • Here to be coached. He wants the data, the video and the honest debrief.
  • Available. Test days, evaluations and development programs. Based in South Florida and willing to travel.
